Funeral Services for John Walter

Here is the infor­ma­tion on the Masonic funeral ser­vice for Brother John Wal­ter, an hon­orary mem­ber of Tippeca­noe Lodge No. 492.

Vis­i­ta­tion will be at the Soller-Baker Twyken­ham facil­ity from 9:00 — 11:00 AM, Sat­ur­day 5 May, with the Masonic ser­vice at 10:45 AM.

Brother John was a very reg­u­lar vis­i­tor at our meet­ings until fail­ing health caught up with him. I hope every­one will make plans to attend this memo­r­ial service.

May 2012 Stated Meeting

Just a quick reminder our Stated Meet­ing is sched­uled for Thurs­day, 3 May. As per our usual sched­ule, we will be serv­ing din­ner at 6:00 PM and we will open Lodge at 7:00. Please plan to attend.

As a fur­ther reminder, our sis­ter Lodge, Shawnee Lodge No. 129 will be hold­ing their Stated Meet­ing on Sat­ur­day, 5 May. Many Shawnee mem­bers are mak­ing the attempt to visit our meet­ings and I think turn-about is fair play. There are some build­ing issues we are approach­ing with com­mit­tees in each Lodge, so vis­it­ing their meet­ings will give 492 mem­bers some insight on how Shawnee is hand­ing things.

Remem­ber the Annual Tippeca­noe County Masonic Asso­ci­a­tion Fish Fry will be on Sat­ur­day, 19 May, from 4:30 to 7:00 PM, at the Home Eco­nomic Build­ing, located at the Tippeca­noe County Fair­grounds on Teal Road in Lafayette. We need Broth­ers to vol­un­teer as much time as they can in set­ting things up on Fri­day evening, as well as final set-up on Sat­ur­day, so please con­tact Steve Dex­ter to let him know when you can help out.
